Crystals need an armature on which to grow, and the beauty of that process is the randomness with which they attach themselves to it. And just as when growing crystals break the line of that armature, Seed’s frame is marked with a small “v” where the lights attach to it—a deliberate structural anomaly--symbolizing the imperfections of a natural process. Seed’s glass shades are mold-blown and then cold-worked to make their facets particularly sharp.
