These portraits are part of a project exploring identity as seen through one's personal relationships; how each person's unique network can act as a self-portrait. I also wanted to begin creating a set of images which describes young New York in a different way than that which is so often publicized; a quieter version which includes the beautiful moments of the normal and perhaps banal.
