The Tower East lobby is located in a residential building designed by Emory Roth and Partners, circa 1961. Dean Maltz Architect and Laura Gottwald & Associates collaborated on renovating the interior lobby, focusing on uncovering and enhancing the modernist structure of the space. The color and finish scheme used as its starting point the original details, such as the Brazilian rosewood wall and terazzo columns, but was updated to feel relevant to the present. Additionally, LG&A designed and produced all of the furniture for the space.
